The Splash series’ original title was “Things I Found Around The Pool.” This was an enjoyable series to work on. Splash 1 came about after I found an old pool screen while cleaning out the garage. I affixed the screen to a canvas with glue and painted the screen. It took around 2 hours for the glue to set the screen on the canvas, and I covered it with seven or eight layers of paint using a palette knife.
