Acrylic paint on 22″ by 28″ canvas.
Painted in October & November 2014.
Looped was my first major painting. In my mind, this artwork gave me a sense of tremendous accomplishment. In total, I spent around 140 hours producing this piece, and it remains to be my only artwork that I have framed. I titled it Looped because of the fact that the viewer can choose any individual tile, and work themselves around the painting (or loop) and come back to the original tile. The sketch design proved difficult but nothing compared to the endless hours painting in the tiles. Check out below the Making of Looped slideshow.
