Following up on Genesis 1, I once again had visions of bold patterns with lively colors for the second painting of the series. Genesis 2 brought bigger elements (only 12 shapes) and a feeling that I had lost the ability to engage the viewer with my choice of colors. Midway through, I added the “rays of light” in the background, ambitiously trying to draw the viewer’s attention with conflicting patterns… it may have worked.
