Genesis 1 was my first actual painting that I conceptualized as an abstract study. I wanted to see if I could literally paint “between the lines” of an abstract creation that I drew. If the shapes and patterns of the piece look random, they are. My only intention was to design shapes and infuse color that would be appealing to me, and hopefully others. After learning more about the business of art, I decided to paint two others with random shapes and attractive colors, and this would be my first SERIES, fittingly called GENESIS.
